Alex Felix is a Mexican-American writer and scientist. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and grew up on an almond orchard in central California. With her family’s love and support, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a minor in Creative Writing from Stanford University, where she worked for Nobel Prize winning scientist, Carolyn Bertozzi. After spending her entire life in California with her family, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to enroll in a graduate program at Harvard University where she graduated with a Master’s in Chemistry and Chemical Biology. She was an Author Mentor Match Mentee in 2021.

Finally back in California, she can be found watching kdramas, or browsing Zillow, when not reading or writing.
